Resources for Students and Families

  • Through a partnership with Friends for Sight, Salt Lake City School District students and community members within district boundaries can access comprehensive eye exams and prescription glasses free of charge at our vision clinics. The clinics are staffed by Friends for Sight, volunteer optometrists from the Utah Optometric Association, and Rocky Mountain University College of Optometry faculty and their students.

    Clinic Locations:

  • To Be Updated

  • Students can check out 5G T-Mobile hotspots at the front office of their school. These hotspots provide critical Internet access so students can complete homework assignments, do math games, fill out scholarship applications, and connect with diverse online resources. Hotspots for parent/guardian use are available for check out at our Community Learning Centers.

  • All Salt Lake City School District students over 6 years of age can receive a UTA pass. These passes are available at the front office of your school.
