Career & Technical Center
We are working to raise $31 million to transform a former elementary school into a state-of-the-art Career & Technical Center, where 3,000+ students each year will explore high-demand fields and earn career-ready certifications. With your support, students will have increased access to high-wage careers without the burden of debt.
Highland High Health Clinic
We are working to raise $1 million to finish the interior clinic space at the new Highland High School as that cost was not part of the bond to rebuild the school. With your support, students will receive on campus the same care from the same providers as if they went to any University of Utah Pediatric Clinic to be seen, regardless of their ability to pay.
West High Health Clinic
We are working to raise $1 million to finish the interior clinic space at the new West High School as that cost was not part of the bond to rebuild the school. This clinic will provide vital services on campus, helping ensure every student is safe, healthy, and ready to learn, regardless of their ability to pay. With your support, we can turn this vision into reality.
Glendale/Ron McBride Track & Field
We are working to raise $600,000 to update the six-lane Ron McBride Track & Field at Glendale Middle School to serve students and the broader community. With your support, it will be expanded to include a locker room and restroom facilities, a scoreboard, bleachers, track and field event pits, equipment storage, track repair and resurfacing.
Donate to a School
In-Kind Donations
In-kind contributions can provide much-needed resources for our schools. We are truly grateful for the generosity of our donors and the community’s support of our schools. The Gift-in-Kind Donation Form should be completed by donors who give non-cash items (such as school supplies or auction items). It is the responsibility of the donor to list the value of their donation on the form. After the form is received by the foundation, a thank-you letter/receipt will be mailed to the donor that may be used for tax deduction purposes.
Items We Are Unable to Accept
Because school districts operate under specific laws, safety standards, and educational guidelines, not every donation can be used as intended. Some gifts may come with restrictions, require ongoing costs, or do not align with district programs or equity guidelines. These policies help us ensure that all resources are used safely, responsibly, and in ways that best support students across the district. Thank you for understanding and for your continued commitment to our schools. Here are some examples of items we are unable to accept:
• Vehicles
• Used electronics (computers, printers, phones, tablets, etc.)
• Used clothing or bedding
• Used binders of any size
• National Geographic magazines
• Used car seats or strollers
If you have a donation and are not sure if it would be useful, feel free to check with our contact, Liz Young.
