Emergency Food Resources Information

At the Foundation, we are working diligently to organize our resources to support families currently in need, as well as those who may require assistance as circumstances evolve. Our many community partners are equally committed to addressing this issue. In collaboration with the Utah Food Bank, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, USANA Kids Eat, For The Kids, and individual donors, we will continue providing ongoing assistance to families across our district.

Food Resources in Salt Lake City School District Buildings:

  • Currently, each of our Title I elementary schools has either an on-site or mobile food pantry sponsored by the Utah Food Bank. We also operate weekend and holiday backpack programs in partnership with USANA Kids Eat and For The Kids.
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints supports these efforts through food donations to the Utah Food Bank and grants for Bishops’ Storehouse vouchers, benefiting both school pantries and individual families.
  • Our High School Teen Centers and Community Learning Centers also maintain food pantries and regularly host food distribution events that are well-publicized within their communities.
